US Cash $250 per person – you will be able to use a credit card to pay for most things. This would be for purchases at local villages.
In the US You can also order local currency through your bank. If you do this I recommend no more then $100 per person in shillings. You can use the remaining shillings for tipping.
Credit Card with no international fees. Visa and Mastercard are more widely accepted.
US Cash for Tips – Recommendation
$5 pp per day for hotel staff
$15 pp per day for Guide/Driver/$20 pp if traveling solo
